Paladins: Introducing Cards Unbound!

Paladins: Introducing Cards Unbound!

Paladins introduces Cards Unbound and elevates the free-to-play experience to higher levels!

This is a major change, possibly controversial, however the development team is certain that a more wide-open and fun QuickPlay mode as well as a Ranked mode that is only affected by player skill, will make the game even better, more competitive and more balanced for the whole player-base. Ranked is 100% about you. Just fair, intense combat, no grind required for cards. There’s no need to collect cards just to play a champ with your favorite loadout in Ranked. On Day 1 you have all the cards and all the Legendaries, all set to Level 3 for Ranked and Competitive play.

It should be noted that Essence is removed from the game and that upon the initial release of Cards Unbound, there will be no way to directly purchase Radiant Chests or Champion Card Chests with Crystals; they may only be unlocked via Gold or playing the game. Additionally, all Basic and all Legendary Cards will now be free and immediately unlocked, so you can build the deck of your dreams and one new Legendary Card is being added for every Champion, free.
