EpicDuel is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) with strategic elements from Artix Entertainment. It evolves during the ever-going war between the Legion and the Exiles, the two dominant factions in the futuristic world of Delta V. Your goal is to help one of them to achieve dominance over the other.In the beginning there is a brief character creation process where you get to name your hero and choose the color of their hair, armor and skin. Up next is the tutorial which will guide you through the game’s basics and in the end will reward you with a number of items that you can equip. The next step is to pick a side to fight with. Keep in mind that your actions will gain or lose influence with the chosen faction.The story revolves around completing quests that have you battle against computer generated opponents for experience, items and credits, the game’s currency, which will be later used to upgrade your hero and his gear. The game features 2D graphics that may not be state of the art, but are colorful, functional and with great detail for the various models.The best aspect of EpicDuel though, is its Player Versus Player (PVP) side; you can challenge other players to 1 on 1 battle or team up with a friend and enter 2 on 2 arenas. Battles are turn-based and centered on choosing the right abilities to use in a limited amount of time, while keeping in mind their energy cost. With each victory you are rewarded with experience, credits and honor points.EpicDuel is fun, addictive and has a dedicated in-game community.
