Deceit is a free to play horror survival game where the Innocents go against the Terrors. It’s one of those games that may not seem that great when you play alone with other players online, however, you might find yourself surprised as to all the fun you’ll have it you play it with friends while being on Discord or Skype.

What is it about? Practically all 6 players are thrown in an asylum and given a role. There are 4 Innocents and 2 Terrors with Innocents being the good guys and the Terrors being the bad. What you have to do is play your way around the map which consists of 3 zones. You start in zone 1 and you have to survive throughout the round in order to proceed to the next zone. Survive all the zones and escape. Unless of course you are the killer you must stop the innocent players from escaping.

The game uses a “Loot Booth” reward system which you are presented with a man behind a desk with 6 cups and the loot you want to receive will be moved around and you must follow the cup you want in order to get it. This might be like a needless mechanic to implement in a game but overall it’s another of its beauty.

Deceit matches are timed perfectly, they are fast-paced and no stand still moments occur. The matches are not long in fact an average match will last 8-10 minutes which means you’ll be able to play a lot of games and not get bored while doing so. Even if it was 30-40 minutes though, all the lying and detective spotting going on during matches will make you want the game to not end.

Summing up, Deceit is a great game, completely different than what we’ve seen in horror games up until now. This one is terrifying while at the same time being outerly funny. Gather your friends and tell them to download it, you won’t be sorry.
