Anno Online is a free-to-play, Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy (MMORTS) game developed by Blue Byte and published by Ubisoft. Based on the popular Anno series, it puts players in charge of a small settlement which they have to transform to an empire.

The very helpful tutorial will introduce you to the game and teach you the very basics. The main purpose of the game is to upgrade and expand your settlement in order to reach the point where you can build ships and explore the world map to discover new places. You will meet new communities with which you can establish trade routes and create alliances. But before you can do that, you must secure a steady flow of resources by building the necessary structures. Stone, wood and gold are needed to build and upgrade houses which will help to attract wealthier citizens that will bring you more money through taxes; it’s an endless loop. What is more, you must always take care of your people’s wishes; since they turn out to be quite needy, you will have your hands full of tasks and responsibilities!

The game features colorful 3D graphics with highly detailed models. There is a wide variety of buildings, all of them with beautiful artwork. Your cities look vibrant and alive with the various sound effects and the era-inspired music theme contributing to the whole feeling. You will not find PVP battles in Anno Online but you will discover a vast, dedicated in-game community eager to support.

If you are looking for a city building game that looks good and can be played for a few hours a day, Anno Online is a title that will offer you a highly satisfying experience.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
