Brave MechWarriors! With new Inner Sphere Resistance Hero Mechs arriving, a brand-new patch, number 1.4.120 is here bringing a plethora of fresh features!
The most important of all is the new 8v8 Competitive Mode! Participants must have earned the Cadet Bonus 25 Achievement and will test their skills and organization abilities in team-based Conquest matches! The mode also includes Leaderboards, Team Registration and Management, Map banning, statistics and rankings and is the beginning of the Qualifying Phase for the 2017 MechWarrior Online World Championships!
The new patch is also introducing some changes to Energy Weapons and to AMS and LRM 5 armaments; for energy weapons especially, there will be a significant rebalancing in order to better define their specific roles in combat and to clarify the base differences between Inner Sphere and Clan Energy weapons.
What is more, the recently introduced Incursion Game Mode will now be refitted and introduced for Faction Play; changes will also occur for the Tug of War Bar with various Invasion Gaming Modes now having a random chance of running.
Finally, there will be a significant number of changes including new Decals and Supply Crates, a brand-new Cockpit Item (Molotov cocktail!) and fixes and updates that will greatly improve performance! And from now on, Private Lobby will not require Premium Time making settings for Match Time, Time of Day and more, available to all players!
