Great news from Funcom, as the official release date of Secret World Legends has been announced! The game will be released on June 26 and for all those that are not already familiar, it is actually a free-to-play reboot of 2012’s The Secret World.
On this new free-to-play edition of the game, returning players as well as newcomers will experience multiple revised mechanics and design elements and they will soon have the opportunity to engage in totally new adventures in the upcoming new game content and fresh story-lines. A new tutorial will be available so that players get into the game and in control right from the start! New starter classes and a completely revamped ability and progression system, built with the aim to make gameplay more responsive and action-oriented, are also some of the noteworthy new changes. A rework of the dressing room, a new equipment and upgrade system, updated character creation options and new visual effects for abilities and play-fields, are also some of the new elements just around the corner.
