Great news for all Duelysts, as Counterplay Games has just announced the format and the schedule for the Duelyst World Championship finals that will take place this weekend 6-7 May! Following a great journey throughout the World Championship Circuit, sixteen amazing players from around the globe, officially called “Grandmasters”, will battle at Duelyst’s prestigious tournament finals competing for a $10,000 prize pool!
It should be noted that the World Champion might play a crucial role to the naming as well as the art design of a card in an upcoming expansion! According to the schedule, the sixteen Grandmasters will be randomly put into groups of 4 and compete each other in the semi-final phase. The winning final 8 Grandmasters will battle it out in a double elimination bracket on Sunday during the grand finals that will crown the World Champion!
