EVE Online: Test the New NPC Combat

EVE Online: Test the New NPC Combat

On the 2nd of May, 2017, EVE Online will be conducting a new mass PVE content test. The event will take place on the Singularity test server and it will involve the upcoming NPC combat and Blood Raider Shipyards as well as the server’s performance. Players are advised to log in at 17.00 EVE time (=UTC) and the event is open for everyone. All participants will be rewarded with two million skillpoints (effective only in the Singularity server).

Developers promise new, exciting PVE combat where NPC ships will be fitted with rigs and modules just as a player’s ship can (that can be collected once the NPC spaceship is destroyed) and advanced A.I. with opponents’ behavior adapting to every situation. NPC fleets will use advanced battle tactics and will now have the ability of evaluating threats and responding accordingly. Finally, Blood Raider Shipyards will be massive constructions with multi-targeting capability and their own defending fleet.

So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
