It’s October in RuneScape and developers have special surprises for you! Prepare for a brand new mini world event featuring the mythical Riders of the Apocalypse, the return of Customer Support Week and more!
This is the month of Halloween so get ready for the annual event in the form of a mini World event called “Til Death Do Us Part”! A mysterious rift has appeared outside of Death’s office and is wrecking havoc. The rift holds captive the army general Moia and Death requires your help to save her. Join Death and his Riders, War, Pestilence and Famine and fight the dark forces of Daemonheim!
As a reward for your help, you will have the chance to enter a warped chamber full of riches! You must gather as much loot as you can in a short period of time! What will you find? That’s a secret, but be ready for a host of unique and new items! Also, the event drop chances have doubled and ghostly essence will have a 10% increased drop rate.
To join the event, head to Draynor Lodestone. There, you should look out for Death and his pillars to the north east. Each week, a new Rider will appear bringing new challenges. Players will have access to new trainable skills, usable rewards and XP multipliers. Also, the more the participants, the better the rewards!
Furthermore, everyone will be able to get their hands on the brand-new Plague Doctor set, available through an upcoming Task Card! From October 25 to October 29, there are 16 tasks to complete with four levels of prestige! The Set includes a staff and syringe, along with rest, walk and teleport animations. Additionally, at some point this month, you will be able to get rare and mysterious items from Nic the Trader near the Port Sarim Lodestone!
Finally, Customer Support Week returns! If you have an Authenticator and bank PIN set up on your account, head to Burthorpe to meet with Count Check. He will reward you with free XP lamps and daily security-themed Clue Scrolls. Just answer all of the questions correctly!
