VEGA Conflict is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy (MMORTS) game from KIXEYE. Take part in an epic space saga where you must help your fellow rebel miners to fight against the wicked VEGA Corporation, which seeks to control every available resource in the galaxy.
The game starts with you being the commander of a small rebel base somewhere in a sector of the vast galaxy. You must build all the necessary structures (or modules as they are called) to store resources, research new technologies and defend your base. Warehouses are extremely important since in case of an attack they are going to be the primary target, so defending them is essential. To gather resources, you have to send your miners to extract them from nearby asteroids or attack somebody else’s convoy returning home, preferably one of VEGA’s.
Space combat is easy to master and beautifully depicted. Laser beams, missile fire, explosions, everything looks great accompanied with some epic musical themes. Before you send your ships to battle, you must choose what kind of weapons to carry and whether they will be heavily armored to be able to absorb hits, or lightly armored to move quickly and sting like bees. Space is a huge place full of unimaginable dangers, so joining Alliances is absolutely crucial if you want to improve your chances to survive.
