Puzzle Pirates is a free-to-play, browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game, developed by Three Rings and published by Grey Havens. It is a puzzle game with cartoonish, colorful 2D graphics and the appropriate pirate music.
When playing, there are a lot of tasks to perform, either on land, or when seafaring. You can complete certain missions and earn money. Then, you can use it to upgrade your pirate’s wardrobe or get new weapons. And finally, if you manage to earn a nice big chest of coins, you can either open your own business, or buy your own ship! After all, what kind of a self-respecting pirate you are if you don’t have a ship! All of the above are accomplished through puzzle-solving. Everything in Puzzle Pirates, from brewing a potion, to sword fighting, is done through a series of nice looking puzzles that will remind you of Tetris or Bejeweled. The most exciting experience of all is finding yourself in a sea battle. It is a complex event that requires a certain level of coordination from the participants and a good skill in puzzle solving.
