In the gaming community there is a name that is worldwide known and approved whether you are a RPG fan or not. Neverwinter is a city where legends are born and some of the best stories are created. It is also the place where the story of the free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Cryptic Studios unfolds. The game features an extensive character creation process where you can customize the appearance of your hero and come up with a champion that looks like no other. There are 13 races to choose from, each with their unique characteristics and bonuses and eight classes inspired from the Dungeons and Dragons system.

The quest-driven story will take you to various locations to fight against hordes of enemies, powerful bosses and to raid dungeons alone or with others for experience and loot. Combat is completely original; forget auto-attack and target-lock. In Neverwinter you will have to aim your attacks at your opponents and keep moving to avoid theirs. What is more, you possess a limited number of abilities so you have to be alert and use them strategically in battle. Encounters look amazing with stunning spell effects, incredible animations and highly detailed models.

Finally, the Foundry is a feature that allows players to create their own stories! There are tons of user-created adventures some of which could have easily found a place in the original game’s storyline! This is something that adds extra value to the game and lets you test your dungeon master abilities. All in all, Neverwinter fully lives up to its mythical name. It is a legendary journey that every true RPG fan must experience.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
