DDTank is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) game developed by NGames and published by Aeria Games. In a beautiful, animated 2D environment, you shoot your opponents for experience and rewards. The game can be played directly from your browser and is also available on Facebook, IOS and Android devices.
The game starts with you choosing your avatar. At this point there are very few customization choices available but as the game progresses and you gain levels, you unlock new special hairstyles and clothes. Together with the various items and weapons (some of which are really funny looking) you get from completing quests you end up with a unique character that looks like no other!
Combat is the game core and the objective is to shoot down your opponent. This can be more difficult than it sounds since there are many factors to consider such as air speed and direction, obstacles, height, distance. What is more, the landscape is fully destructible something that creates extra hiding places. All of the above, together with the various sound effects, make fights more interesting and funny. You can also join a guild and participate in guild fights and special events. The game is heavily Player versus Player (PVP) oriented, focusing on battles between players but there is a quest line to follow that rewards you with gear and experience.
If you want to take a break from the usual “serious” shooting games, DDTank is a game you should consider. It offers a more relaxing and fun approach to the genre and it will entertain you immensely.
