Crossfire is a free to play 3D MMOFPS game, by Smilegate, evolving during the turn of the 21st century and characterized by the cold war’s scenery and the global conflict’s arena. The leading forces are redesigning their armies through de-arming their military forces to ostensibly propel peace, while at the same time conspiring at the background by hiring mercenaries and working closer than ever with PMC companies.

PMC demand is on the rise and two companies stand out from the crowd, Global Risk and Black List. Players will join forces and select their side while also choose their hero from various distinctive characters. SWAT, SAS, OMOH, GSG9, SBS, NAVY SEALS, SFG, UNSF, VVS and many other special forces commandos are available for selection based on your preferences and playstyle. Through play you will gain experience, level up the ranks and unlock new items that can be bought using the in-game currency. To create your distinctive look, special items and skins are available for purchase, using real money, from the in-game store.

Crossfire is fast paced and gives weight to the multiplayer game variety. You will be able to join team death matches, co-op, search and destroy, free for all, elimination and many other competitive and cooperative online game modes. The low system requirements will make the game run effortlessly also in lower spec machines but this comes at a cost. Graphics wise, the game looks outdated and seriously behind competition. However, the vast pool of selectable heroes and weapons as well as the multiple game modes, create an attractive and promising game offering that will surely catch your attention.
