Bigpoint is behind Deepolis, a free-to-play, browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) with an interesting story. You command a submarine and roam the oceans to seek and destroy your faction’s opponents.

Before you start your adventure, you create an avatar and a name; your character is actually your submarine. After that, there is a small tutorial that will teach you everything you need to know. There are three playable sides, the Nauts that have the most balanced ships, the Scions that favor defense and the Jafnhar who are in favor of aggressive expansion. The quest-driven story will have you perform certain tasks for the group of your choosing, some of which include attacking other factions’ convoys to steal their resources. You can also wander the ocean freely and make a fortune by amassing hidden riches or do a little PVP battle and attack players of the opposing factions for fame, increased reputation and loot!

Generally speaking, Deepolis looks amazing. It features beautiful 3D graphics that depict perfectly the vast ocean and its inhabitants. Combat is very easy to master with stunning visual effects and nice animations. What is more, the in-game community is very active and helpful; it won’t be difficult to find people to play with or guilds to join.

Concluding, if you are looking for a fun MMORPG that looks great and has a gripping story in an unusual setting, then Deepolis must be the next addition to your game library.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
