The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Houses of Morrowind!

The Elder Scrolls: Legends – Houses of Morrowind!

April 5 marks the launch date for Houses of Morrowind, the brand-new expansion for The Elder Scrolls: Legends!

Players are invited to travel to Vvardenfell and discover the five major Houses and their machinations along with new, strange creatures, meet the living Gods themselves and of course their nemesis, the mighty Dagoth Ur! The expansion introduces 149 new cards, featuring creatures and characters well known to those familiar with the The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind and The Elder Scrolls: Online universe together with some interesting changes.

TESL Dagoth Ur

Take a close look at the Dagoth Ur card; the most noticeable thing is that this is a three-colored card. As it is known, in The Elder Scrolls: Legends game, a deck can only include cards of a maximum of two colors. The new expansion will introduce powerful three-colored cards which, once put in a deck, will cancel this rule and allow a player to use cards of the same three colors! Additionally, a three-colored deck must consist of a minimum of 75 cards and the maximum deck size (for any deck) is raised to 100!

Let’s meet the three rival major Houses. House Telvanni is known as home of some of the greatest and most ambitious mages in Tamriel; these people will use any means necessary to achieve their goals! Intelligence, Agility and Endurance are their colors and Betray is their most powerful ability which allows for a creature to be sacrificed in order to be played again. Combined with cards with powerful last Grasp abilities they are formidable opponents!

House Hlaalu on the other hand, has always something going on with enterprises running all over Morrowind. Their key ability is Plot which can be enabled only if you have played another card this turn. With Strength, Willpower and Agility being their governing attributes and powerful, low-cost cards, they exterminate their enemies quickly!

House Redoran is known for its martial prowess. With Rally being their key ability which gives a random creature in your hand +1/+1 whenever a Rally creature attacks and Strength, Willpower and Endurance their governing attributes, this is a House of warriors, disciplined, honorable and fearsome in battle!

The Tribunal Temple acts as the hand of Morrowind’s living Gods. They worship Sotha Sil, Vivec and Almalexia who grand them Intelligence, Willpower and Endurance as governing attributes. Their key ability is Exalt which offers a creature a bonus if the player chooses to pay the extra price in magicka marking it as Exalted. These creatures are important especially if a living God appears in the game, like for example, Vivec

Finally, the last one to meet is House Dagoth. The Tribunal tried to destroy it centuries ago but they failed; Now, in the depths of the Red Mountain, Dagoth Ur is getting ready to take his revenge and become ruler of all with the help of his mighty Ash Creatures. Strength, Intelligence and Agility are its key attributes and it rewards you for having strong creatures of 5+ power in your deck; Dagoth Ur can be one of them!

Whether you choose one of the great Houses or remain neutral, this new expansion will surely have something for you! For more information, please visit the Official Site
