War Thunder: Challenger 1: A Worthy Heir

Brave commanders! Update 1.77 for War Thunder is almost here and one of the most fearsome modern tanks, the Challenger 1 can be yours!

Introduced in the service back in 1986, it was produced in small numbers and its carrier was short. However, it was considered as one of the most potent tanks of its time together with the legendary M1 Abrams and Leopard 2. With excellent protection and very advanced for its time, it served in good numbers with many western armed forces.

The newest addition to the British ground forces tree will be a far more capable MBT that its predecessor, the Chieftain MK 10; with its Chobham composite armour, it’s going to be one of the better protected high-rank vehicles. What is more, its heavy 120 mm main gun and its high mobility will ensure that its opponents will face a deadly challenge!
