Xsyon is a MMORPG that was developed and published originally in March 2011 and later on in December 2014 on Steam by Notorious Games. Starting out players get to customize their character and the interesting part is that they also get to choose their age before starting out. The game takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting and it is a true sandbox game in that there is complete freedom as to what you will do to survive. The most important and at the same time complex part of the game is choosing your starting abilities that influences the tools which your character will have in his inventory. As there is not much explanation it is a good idea to reach to the forums and the community for help before choosing.
The part in which Xsyon truly shines is its crafting system. The only limit is the player’s imagination and depending on what you would like to build you have to grind the abilities by making the appropriate things and learn them. The game has a fee but is buy to play without any in game shop or subscriptions. At the moment there is only one person left developing the game and he is doing a good job at implementing changes and supporting the game but it takes time to fix the game. If you enjoy crafting games I would suggest giving Xsyon a try and if you do not like it you could always refund it if you play it for less than two hours.
