War Commander is a free-to-play, browser based, Massive Multiplayer Online (MMO) strategy game from KIXEYE. It is set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi world where players fight each other and computer generated opponents for survival.

As in most representatives of the genre, there is a small tutorial that will keep you company for the first hours of the game and teach you the very basics. You will spend more of your time building your base. There is a plethora of buildings that can be constructed and each one serves a different purpose. There are resource gathering facilities, research buildings, army barracks and defense structures that need to be built before you can raise an army and go exploring.

The most important and fun part of War Commander is combat. There is a huge variety of units that you can build and different ways to use them. Battles are platoon-based; you send as many troops as you can and try to do enough damage to your opponents or even destroy them. Each successful raid rewards you with a number of resources.

War Commander features 3D graphics that, for a browser game, look good. The numerous building models are highly detailed and the same goes for the various units and vehicles. Battle effects are nice and the soundtrack is really good with uplifting themes. If strategy games are your thing, then you should definitely try War Commander. Don’t miss this amazing gaming experience!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
