The Banner Saga: Factions

The Banner Saga: Factions is a free-to-play strategy title from Stoic Studios. It’s the standalone, multiplayer part of the successful Banner Saga game and it features team-based combat where careful strategic planning is the key to victory.

Players are required to build a balanced team consisted of the right heroes for every given encounter. Every hero has an Armor and a Strength value with the latter also counting as their Health. Armor reduces incoming damage and the more health (= strength) a hero loses the more incapacitated they become. Battles require planning, correct unit placement and deep understanding of your team’s strong points and weaknesses. Add the beautiful Nordic setting with the distinct artwork and you have a title that every fan of the genre must try!
