Swordsman

Swordsman is a MMORPG that was developed and published by Perfect World Entertainment in July 2014. The game is based on a novel by Louis Cha and the game depicts the setting of the book nicely, with correct traditional Ancient Chinese architecture. The graphics are nice and have nice vibrant colours, but they do lack in quality compared to other games of the same genre. The combat is pretty basic and players start as a white belt martial artists and go up the ranks by leveling up.

A bad point of the game is the fact that there aren’t many in game explanations when you unlock new systems by leveling up. Overall swordsman lacks a lot of elements to make it a great game, however it nails the niche it aimed for nicely. So if you are a fan of this style and culture, as it is free to play I would suggest giving Swordsman a try.
