Shadowbound is the free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from R2Games you can enjoy from your browser. In a world threatened by Evil, you must join other heroes in search of mystical items that will help you to restore peace to the troubled land.

After choosing one of the three available classes (warrior, mage and hunter) you can start your adventure. The first set of quests will give you an idea of the game mechanics, introduce you to the story and acquaint you with your first companion. The quest-driven story will have you visit a plethora of locations, all beautifully depicted, with their own soundtrack, and fight against hordes of monsters. To assist you, the game implements an auto-pathing system and later on introduces mounts that will considerably speed up your travels between locations.

The core of Shadowbound is the recruitment of Mercenaries. You can have up to eight of them in your party and each one has upgradeable abilities and skills that will greatly help you in battle. What is more, they can be equipped with items from your inventory. Combat is automated, you just have to position your units strategically in order to maximize damage output; on the visual aspect, it looks great with beautiful graphics and fluid animations. Another noteworthy aspect of the game is the PVP action. Many different modes are available that will test your skills against real-life opponents including 8v8 matches and massive 40v40 battles.

In a world of titles that look and feel the same, Shadowbound presents the MMORPG enthusiasts with a memorable gaming experience that will sustain their interest for some time.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
