S.K.I.L.L. is a free to play MMOFPS game that may look like your casual FPS game at first look incorporating standard menus and controls, but in the end manages to offer a very well structured and balanced gameplay experience that certainly manages to be appealing not only to the hardcore but to the newcomer player as well. The game also offers a shop where you can buy new weapons using real or in-game currency. In case you are a VIP member, you will get special access to exclusive VIP items with mostly cosmetic differences aiming to show-off your distinctive status.

A huge selection of game modes is available, suiting every need or preference. Actually, this is one of S.K.I.L.L.’s best aspects, taking even the classic death-match one-step further providing an extreme mode where a single bullet is enough for a guaranteed kill. Additional modes include Survival and Defence, which are nice co-op mode touches, Seizure, which is a capture the flag style mode and Escape, where players of the one team must escape the area after completing their objective and the other team must kill them before they do so. Blasting, is a classic bomb mode in which players of one team try to plant a bomb and players of the opposing team try to stop them by killing them or by defusing the bomb. Finally, there is a Party mode, and this is where the game truly shines offering some extreme game scenarios like Manhunt, where one team takes the role of Aliens, and Glass, where players kill their opponents either directly or by shooting the glass under their feet making them fall to certain death!

S.K.I.L.L.’s presentation is more or less standard, offering some simple but very clean graphics and sounds. The game’s solid mechanics and the great variety of gameplay modes that include some nice innovative elements will appeal to all FPS enthusiasts, no-matter their experience level.
