Renegade: X Review

Renegade X, is a free to play online 3D TPS game, by Totem Arts which has brilliantly managed to re-invent the classic Command & Conquer game experience into FPS action, inviting players to choose their side, the peacekeepers of “Global Defense Initiative” or the terrorists of “Brotherhood of Nod”.

With an amazing multiplayer action scope, Renegade X features online fast-paced, often chaotic battles between two teams of 40 players with the objective to destroy the opponent’s HQs, while at the same time defending their own. Choose from a vast array of weapons and vehicles and attack with devastating nuclear strikes, high precision, satellite-based, ion cannons and terrorizing air strikes.Multiple structures and buildings are at your disposal in order to protect you and provide you tactical advantages during your battles. However, you should watch out and defend your most valuable and strategic ones, while aiming to destroy your opponent’s, as once they are destroyed any provided benefit is lost.

Graphics wise, the game uses Unreal Engine 3 and this means that the texture quality, the effects and the models are highly detailed. Along with the equally cared-for sound, they create an attractive atmosphere that looks and hears great.
