OGame is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Gameforge. It’s a science fiction strategy game where players start from one single planet and work their way towards creating an empire.

In the beginning of the game you find yourself in charge of a small colony on a barren planet. Your job is to gather resources and use them to upgrade and expand your settlement. Once you have built all the necessary infrastructure you are ready to create a fleet and colonize other planets. Resource gathering is OGame’s backbone. Everything, from raising buildings to researching new technologies and summoning fleets depend on them. The game encourages you to join alliances; working with others can greatly improve your chances of achieving your goals.

The game features great 2D graphics that resemble hand-painted artwork and really give you the feeling of the vastness of space. Models for buildings and spaceships are well detailed and inspired. Combat is fully automated and is really based on numbers; the more ships you have the better! The Player versus Player (PVP) mode of OGame is really fun and is actually the way the game is meant to be played.

OGame is a nice, traditional MMORPG that, despite the fact it’s published more than ten years ago, has a dedicated and rather big gaming community and offers an exciting experience for casual and hardcore gamers alike.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
