Karos Returns Review

Karos Returns is a free to play 3D MMORPG, by Galaxy Gate, evolving in the fantasy world of Asmara where after a period of fragile peace between the four races, war has once more burst upon the lands. You will choose your race from the four available; Humans, Shadow, Seroine and Vaneese Human and you will select your preferred class. Become either a Mystic, a Bow Mistress, a Blader, a Paladin, a Rogue, a Sorceress or a Gunner and fight for leadership and restore the world’s order.

The vast areas of Asmara and the open world PVP, provide a great openness with unlimited opportunities and deep character customization options. Progressing through the game, players will have the chance to improve their hero’s skills by gaining experience and leveling up. With a fresh approach towards skill development, Karos Returns incorporates the “Fletta”, an innovative class customization system that in short, can be used to increase your stats, provide buffs, buy needed resources and enchant your items. Fletta is the backbone of Asmara’s world. A magical energy source whose supply must not fall into the evil hands of Malyx, the lord of darkness.

Your heroes gather Fletta points as a reward by killing monsters or discover special Fletta gem items. The former can be used to either boost specific character attributes and cast powerful attacks or stored and apply a boost to the gained experience. Fletta points can also be transferred to certain NPCs in-game, in order to access special bonuses. On the other hand, the latter form; gem items, are special weapons or armors that can be found in various rarities and enchanted. They will adapt to the player’s level and class during play, meaning that these items will level-up in parallel with your character.

Featuring beautiful 3D graphics and animations and taking into account the low system requirements, the overall provided level of detail is outstanding. Replay-ability wise, considering the well-structured innovative elements and mechanics as well as the world’s openness and the multiple online PVP guild game modes, Karos Returns will win your focus for a long time.
