Insidia is a tactical turn-based game developed and published by Bad Seed on 2018. What you’ll notice about this title is that its gameplay is based on games like Atlas Reactor but with a twist, all turns are played simultaneously for both players, giving some extra challenge to a rather strategic genre.

Insidia was up on an extensive Beta up until its release, giving players the sense that it’s going to have a low playerbase forever. However, that changes rapidly as more and more players get intrigued by its beautiful, low requirement graphics and innovative strategic combo system.

The battles in Insidia are 4v4, where you have to move and attack with 4 characters chosen from a various roster. You get 2 abilities and one ultimate for each character which can be used when the ultimate meter goes full. The ultimate can be used by only one character each time so choose it wisely.

The objective of the game is to take over the energy portal. And use the cannons on the center to fire at the enemy base. The champion needs to stand on the specific position to have cannon fire. Any of the structure gets destroyed by the cannon, champion can be made use of that gate specific gate to sabotage the base, and this will cause victory.

Insidia needs to be played strategically and have to use the skill of each champion to win the game. Sometimes the game can be finished faster, sometimes it can even take an hour to finish. The graphics of the game are so far simple and environment feels like Overwatch a bit, with all the textures and color scheme.

Overall, Insidia is a must-play for all lovers of the strategic turn-based genre. It will require focus and high tactics for you to be successful in. It might seem easy to get into but mastering it will not come easy.
