Heroes of Order and Chaos is a free-to-play, 3D MOBA, developed by Gameloft for mobile devices. The game features deep strategy mechanics, top notch console quality graphics, a unique cartoonish environment and a huge hero roster.

Heroes of Order and Chaos (HOC) offers various modes and maps ranging from PvE and versus AI modes, which are mainly unranked and casual, to hardcore ranked 5 vs 5 and 3 vs 3 three-lane PvP modes. Players can solo queue or queue as a team to participate in PvP matches where they are assigned either as defenders of Order or heroes of Chaos, the two opposing factions of HOC. Gameplay is similar to every classic MOBA game, players start off in their base where they get access to a shop and a regenerating fountain, the main core (Royal Castle for Order and Fel Crystal for Chaos) is their ultimate goal but in order to get to it they have to deal with three towers in each lane and the opposing heroes.

There is a huge variety of Heroes in HOC, after three years of updates, the game currently gives players access to over 52 different playable heroes, which are divided into four main categories, guardians, fighters, mages and supports. Getting to know each hero’s normal and heroic (ultimate) abilities and how to utilize or counter them is what makes the game ticking.

All in all, Heroes of Order and Chaos is a decent 3D mobile MOBA, although newer representatives of the kind offer more responsive controls and flashy graphics, still a popular game to try out if you are a fan of the genre.
