Forge of Empires is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy (MMORTS) game from InnoGames that you can play from your browser. Players embark on a journey through the ages where starting from a village elder work their way to creating a modern empire.

The center of your settlement is the Town Hall; all of your buildings must be connected to it in order to be operational, so as your city expands you must strategically place every new structure and keep that rule in mind. The game implements a nice tutorial that guides you through all the things you need to know to better manage your empire. Establishing a steady resource flow and keeping your subjects happy are the two basic elements you must always keep in mind if you want to be successful. And you must never forget to interact with other players, alliances might be the key.

Forge of Empires features nice 2D graphics with great detail for the various buildings. There is a great variety of structures and each one represents accurately the given era. Battles are fully automated and not depicted. You just spy your opponent, choose the number and type of troops you want to deploy and the game will notify you on the outcome of the battle.

Forge of Empires is a typical empire building strategy title. If you have played games like Age of Empires, then you will thoroughly enjoy this one; if you are new to the genre, this is a great way to get yourself introduced into the world of MMORTS games!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
