Dungeon Defenders 2 is a free to play 3D Strategy game combining RPG elements, by Trendy Entertainment, evolving in the fantasy land of Etheria. It successfully builds up its legacy and provides an even better experience than the original game, taking the recipe of the initial tower defense concept to higher levels and over-delivering in every possible way.
You will have the chance to play either solo or teaming up with three other players into a 4-player co-op. Your mission is to defend the Eternia Crystals, push back your enemies; the Old Ones’ armies, and save your kingdom. The main mechanics are centered around the classic tower defense flows, so your mission is to destroy the enemy’s structures while defending your own. Four classes are available to choose your hero, the Squire (Warrior), the Huntress (Rogue), the Apprentice (Spell caster) and the Monk. These classes can be selected and changed on the fly, while in combat. Of course, each one has each own skills and unique abilities, therefore you should pay close attention and grasp the mechanics of the hero interactions inside the battlefield, in order to build team alignment and maximize your attack & defense potentials.
As you progress you will gain experience, level up and discover valuable items like relics, weapons and armor in order to equip, combine and boost your stats. For deeper customization, special Skill Spheres will allow you to alter your skillset and create even more powerful abilities. Extra support can also be provided by your trustworthy pets. Hundreds of them are available, waiting to be discovered and developed, so they can reach their full potential and help you vanish your foes.
