Dofus is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) from Ankama Games. It features a colorful, hand-drawn 2D universe called the World of Twelve with many different locations to visit, cities bustling with life and mysterious dungeons with well-hidden secrets to discover.

The game features 17 playable classes, each with unique abilities and skills. From the tanky Feca to the powerful Ouginak, all classes can fulfill more than one role. Combat is turn-based and revolves around strategic usage of your hero’s abilities, or when you are in a team, the coordination of its members. The World of Twelve is a vast place with more than a thousand different creatures to slay and hundreds of pets and mounts to collect! The huge list of quests has one and only mission; to have you collect every Dofus there is. Dofus are Dragon Eggs and they come in various sizes, colors and shapes; the rarest and most important of them are the six Primordial ones hidden in secret places of the universe which grand their owner God-like powers.

There are 18 professions in Dofus. They all have something to do with harvesting resources, and crafting or enhancing items (mostly) for profit. What is more, you will meet numerous adventurers that can be hired to aid you in battle and of course you can join a Guild and team up with others in order to clear the most challenging dungeons for epic rewards. It must be noted that although you can play the game for free, unless you set up a subscription, you won’t be able to enjoy the full content of Dofus, for example you don’t have access to pets or you can’t explore the whole of the game’s universe.

Dofus is a beautiful game with colorful and detailed graphics, an interesting story with many quests and a huge number of monsters to fight. Its economic model may discourage some players but those who decide to give it a try will be completely satisfied!

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
