Astro Lords: Oort Cloud is a free-to-play Massive Multiplayer Online Real Time Strategy (MMORTS) title from developer Aratog Games and publisher Nikita Online. It can be played from your browser or IOS and Android devices. The vast space is colonized by Lords like you who search for the valuable Forerunner Runes and Artifacts in a constant struggle for survival. However, a powerful alien race has appeared in search of the exact relics; things are going to get interesting…

Your base is built on an asteroid that, with the appropriate upgrades, can be navigated around space. There are many kinds of resources, all of them useful and can be gathered in different ways; some, like crystals, can be mined from asteroids, others can be bought or traded and some, like ammunitions, can be produced in factories. Researching new technologies is necessary to upgrade your structures and reduce building time.

As you explore the vast space, you will come across other settlements, controlled by real-life players or by the computer. You can negotiate peacefully with them or attack them. In the latter choice, you can deploy a fleet of up to six spaceships of which you can control only one. Your ships can be fitted with a variety of weapons, shield generators and targeting systems. Combat is a little tricky, but generally easy to master and great to look at, with detailed ship models, beautiful visual effects and fluid animations.

Astro Lords: Oort Cloud is an interesting take to the whole space MMORTS model with a lot of innovations like the mobile base, a gripping story, great visuals and a challenging gameplay. It is a game worthy of your time.

It was back at 1996 when Theodoros bought his first Personal Computer and with it a copy of Shogun : Total War. That was the beginning of many sleepless nights of exploring the fantastic world of gaming. He calls himself an “expert” defender and that’s his favorite gameplay style but he will not hesitate to grab a shield and go forth to protect his team as a tank. So next time you adventure in Azeroth and see a shield bearing cow named Klaras, you have found our guy! He is also a great fan of Role Playing Games. From Icewind Dale to Neverwinter Nights and Skyrim, you name it, he has played it all! He is not your average casual gamer, he is a dedicated fan!
