Allods Online is a fantasy MMORPG developed by Astrum Nival as a third installment to the game series Rage of Mages and is an MMO strongly inspired by World of Warcraft. After having changed a lot of publishers, Allods online is now playable through My.com Game Center just as Revelation Online and Skyforge. The game has changed a lot through the years, receiving updates and even a big expansion which added a lot of new content to the game.

Your first contact with the game is choosing you faction. Just as WoW, here too you can choose one and create races and classes applicable to only this faction. For Allods Online these are the Empire and the League. After that you have a series of 7 races and 10 classes to choose from but be careful! For each race, the classes are different sto choose wisely. Character customization options are decent, once more inspired by Wow.

Leveling up and farming in Allods Online is fairly easy, quests are linear and easy to track even though you might find yourself overwhelmed about the number of concurrent quests you might have to track. The game features no auto-attack mechanic so that’s a minus for its gameplay, it’s not such a game changer though. This gets nullified by the fact that there is an auto-run feature so that you complete quests easier.

While PvE options are not different than any other MMORPG’s, its PvP section shines with features that can satisfy anyones needs. Apart all classic PvP features, this game implements the Astral which is a neutral Zone where players from both Factions fight each other on Ship v Ship battles where communication is essential. We can say that Astral battles are the main feature of the game since players have to co-operate so as to navigate, work the guns and fight all at once.

Allods Online lets you choose whether you want to play on a Free-to-Play or a subscription server so you can’t say that it’s Pay-to-Win. There are cash items even in free servers but they are so overpriced that only a small number of players would consider that an option.

To sum up, Allods Online might be a classic World of Warcraft clone but anything it does, it does it good. For a free-to-play MMORPG, developers spent a lot of money on its creation and that shows. If you don’t want to spend money monthly on World of Warcraft, Allods is a really good alternative which won’t disappoint you.
