TFT SET 4 BEST COMPS – Tier List – Teamfight Tactics Patch 10.19 Guide

TFT SET 4 BEST COMPS - Tier List

So do you want to know what to play on set 4 launch to rank up quickly?

Well in this video we will evaluate each and every build that has been successful in PBE and how to utilize it into our games.

Stick around!

So in today’s post we will go over a PREDICTIONS TIER LIST for patch 10.19 and the launch of Set 4. What i want to stress out is that the tier list is made out of personal opinion considering the state of the meta in PBE, the latest patch notes and which builds did best in the All Star Invitational Finals.

Lets start with the king of Set 4 Launch.

Enlightened Assasin or Talon carry

So our favourite build, Adept Mystic is back and better than ever. Althought it got buffed and nerfed and buffed and nerfed throughout the PBE cycle, its final form is super effective and it will dominate the pacth 10.19 meta as it did in the All star invitational finals. So about the comp, it fully deploys at level 7 with Morelonomicon Morgana being the only item prerequisite. The idea is to solo Shen frontline with Irelia as backup, Morgana putting morelo and dazzle to the whole map while Talon picking up enemies one by one. The reason this is so effective is because the build is so flexible, you can add in 4 Mystics to counter mage comps or add 4 Assasins for Talon or go for 6 Enlightened which is exceptionally good since Talon ulties and goes untargetable every 2 autos.

Chosen Cultists

Ok cultists dominated the all star invitational finals with 7 top 4 and 2 first places. Cultists, as most builds in the current meta, involves around early 1cost Chosens to snowball the early and mid game. In this case, chosen Elise is super OP since she rolls HP and as spider she lifesteals based on max hp. Also chosen cultist enables easy winstreak early and mid game with 3 and 6 cultists having not many counters. This is a fast 8 build, with Jhin being the suitable carry, but you can also kalista carry or even evelynn. Best opener is sword for Guardian angel, being the best item for our carries since once Galio is summoned we have all the tankiness we need for our carries to clear the board. Late game it falls off a bit, but the early and mid game dominance guarantees a healthy transition into the late game and thats why it is so successful and popular choice. Expect it to be super contested once ranked is enabled.

Brawler Hunters or Aphelios carry

Aphelios is super busted right now, he passed unchanged from the final patch notes and he is only affected by the hunter nerf. There are 2 ways to play Aphelios carry, but both involve around Chosen Aphelios. So how this works, once you come across Chosen Hunter Aphelios you go for 4 hunter synergy with 2 random brawlers 2star for frontline. At level 7 you slowroll for 3star Aphelios and other 2star hunters. The other way is with Chosen Moonlight Aphelios where you again target for level 7 slowroll in order to aquire 3star Sylas and 4star Aphelios. Best opener for both builds is sword with guardian angel being the best item for Aphelios since turrets keep dpsing while he is ressing. Other items are Guinsoo and IE or Shiv. Try to put a Gargoyle Stoneplate to one of the frontlines, Sylas preferred in the second variation and Ap items go to Kindred with Blue Buff being his best item. This build mostly supports 1 player per lobby so scout early if you get chosen Aphelios and dedicate to eliminate the competition.

Ok lets get to our A tier comps starting with Chosen Sharpshooters.

Chosen Sharpshooters

This build involves around Chosen Sharpshooter, anyone can carry, Chosen Vayne 3 with AD items, Teemo or Jinx with AP items or Jhin carry with Guardian Angel and 2 offencive items like the Cultist build. Everything can work depending on the Chosen drop and thats the great thing about set 4. There is no set route, all you need is a strong frontline with Vanguards being a little better than the others and it all comes down to the chosen and items drop. Teemo is an exceptional carry since Spear of Shojin counts for all sharpshooter bounces getting teemo to ulti every 1 or 2 autos. This build once 6 Sharpshooters is up mostly counters the heavy AD Assasin comps with Aatrox pulling everything in the middle and Teemo aoe morelo and blind the whole enemy team.

Chosen Duelists

This build requires Chosen Yasuo. Chosen Yasuo can only roll duelist so if you get him early and have some AD potential items you hardforce it. The idea is to go level 5 and slowroll for 3star Yasuo, Fiora, Janna and potentionally Jax. You dont want to be stuck on level 5, so once you reach stage 4-1 you dig a bit into your economy to 3star your remaining roster with Yasuo 3star being the only prerequisite. Then you snowball the mid game with 6 duelist and at level 8 you roll to fish for a Yone to finallize your comp. This build hardcounters the slow dmg comps like kalista carry and Enlightened since they never get to kill Yasuo3 with 2 exile bonus. The reason its not an S tier is because you need a certain Chosen and very specific items for Yasuo to be unkillable, making this build inconsistent but great once you meet these requirements.

Last build for today is Ninja Assasins.

Ninja Sins

I know many people will disagree that its a B tier build but the main reason why this is inferior to the others is that assasins and Zed got nerfed in the final Patch notes today, and it requires some highroll items on akali in order to carry you to top 4. The main idea here is to fast 7 and roll for akali 2star to stabilize. Considering you have Blue Buff and Cannon on her, you can get to level 8 to get your 4 Sin and 4 Ninja traits on. Your win condition for this build is 3star Akali with perfect items and a couple of defensive items on Shen. Thats why you need some highroll for this build to be successful.
Thats it for our early prediction tier list for Set 4 launch, i want to let you know that any build structured around an early chosen can be viable but it is what it is preditions.

Thats it for the guide, there is also a video guide coming up, let me know what you think in the comments section below, tell me if you like these guides or if this was any helpful and until next time. Stay competitive.
