Murkmire, the latest DLC for The Elder Scrolls Online and Update 20 base-game patch are live! Prepare yourselves for a new zone to explore, a new storyline, an all-new 4-player Arena and more!
The DLC is free for all ESO Plus members and can be purchased for Crowns from the in-game store. Additionally, the DLC will be available as a daily reward for the month of November! The new update is free for all players.

Murkmire is located on Black Marsh’s southern coast and is the home of the Argonians. Learn about their history as you explore the new region and experience new adventures including interesting quests, World Bosses and other hidden dangers! With the new storyline, you will have to help an Imperial scholar in his search for an ancient and powerful Argonian relic. And if you are lucky enough, you may discover the hidden history of the Argonians themselves!
Furthermore, those of you that are thirsty for a good fight, can test their prowess in Blackrose Prison, the brand-new Arena! There, you will fight against hordes of ferocious beasts and Blackguard warriors in epic battles! If you manage to survive you will get powerful and exclusive Blackrose weapons! Also, completing quests in the area will earn you Murkmire-themed collectibles and three new zone sets! Finally, daily quests will reward you with the new Dead-Water motif style!
As mentioned earlier, you can get the new DLC as a daily reward for November! All you have to do is log in and claim a reward for 24 of November’s 30 days! Apart from that, you can get it from the Crown Store where you will also find the Murkmire Collector’s Bundle. In it, you will find the exclusive Shellback Warhorse mount, the Cantaloupe Swamp Jelly pet, and five Crown Experience Scrolls!
To enter the zone, you can either teleport to the city of Lilmoth (Murkmire’s main city) via your map or pick up the Murkmire main quest from the Collections UI. Alternatively, you can take a ship from Vulkhel Guard, Davon’s Watch, or Daggerfall. And when you set foot on the area for the first time, you will get the Verdigris Haj Mota pet, completely free!
And last but not least, we have Update 20; with it and for the first time ever, destructible bridges and Milegates are introduced to the game! Use your ballistae, catapults, or trebuchets and bring them down! You can always repair them later or use a series of new goat paths to avoid those chokepoints! Also, Update 20 brings a series of new Outposts and brand new rewards! In addition to the above, you will find a plethora of fixes and improvements plus an updated Housing Editor with new tools for all of you restless home decorators!
