The Midyear Mayhem event begins tomorrow, July 26 at 10:00AM EDT and will end on Monday, August 6 at 10:00AM EDT. Get ready to earn double XP, Alliance Points, bonus rewards and celebrate the legendary warrior Pelinal Whitestrake!
In order to join the event, visit the in-game Crown Store, acquire and activate the “Details on the Midyear Mayhem” ticket, use the Alliance War menu and travel to your Alliance War faction’s main gate in Cyrodiil. Find “Predicant Maera” and pick up the quest “Midyear Mayhem”. Note that if you have finished this quest during last year’s event you don’t have to repeat it this year. Upon completion of the quest, you will receive a Scroll of Pelinal’s Ferocity and a Pelinal’s Midyear Boon Box. The scroll will give you a 100% boost for Alliance Points and XP gains for PvP player kills. The boost will be effective for 2 hours and can be used in the Alliance War, Imperial City, and Battlegrounds. The Scroll can be used for as many times as you wish for the full duration of the event.
Complete each of the seven Midyear Mayhem event Achievements and unlock the “Star-Made Knight” achievement; once you have accomplished that, you can earn the very special and exclusive Midyear Victor’s Laurel Wreath!
The aforementioned achievements require you to participate in both the Alliance War, Battlegrounds, and Imperial City matches so you must own the Imperial City DLC game pack in order to earn them all.
Pelina’s Midyear Boon Boxes can be earned through PVP action and from completion of the repeatable Town, Battle, Bounty, Conquest, Scouting, and Warfront quests in Cyrodiil as well as the Battlegrounds repeatable quests. These Boxes contain Tel Var Stones and if you are lucky enough, exclusive items like Coldharbour siege weapons, Prismatic Runestones, Transmute Crystals, PvP consumables and many more!
Also, for the whole duration of the event, all nodes in Cyrodill and the Imperial City will give out 2x their regular resources and the Cyrodiil PvP merchant Adhazabi Aba-daro will sell Alliance War Legendary-quality jewelry. And if you really want to honor the legendary Pelinal Whitestrake, the in-game Crown Store will be selling the Star-Made Wolfshead costume from July 26 until July 30!
