TERA’s Summer Festival is back! From Thursday, June 21 until Tuesday, July 31, visit the coast outside Castanica for the traditional Beach Bash, or drop into Balder’s Refuge for the annual Festival of the Sun!

The Castanica Beach Bash is located on Dragonturtle Beach and Kerozen Isle, along the coast of Ostgarath just north of Castanica. There, you can talk to mini-game coordinators and have fun with some exciting mini-games like the Watermelon Mini-Game where you must wear a blindfold and smash watermelons, or the Splash Cannon Mini-Game where you hunt down sea monsters for points! Alternatively, you can collect sand and build as many sandcastles as you can to get magic items that let you build sandcastles anywhere! Note that the Castanica Beach Bash quests are only available to level 48+ players.
To join the Festival of the Sun, you must get to Temple of the Sun in Balder’s Refuge, talk to the Consos Clan priests and help them with their annual summer cleaning. In Fight off the Monsters, you will have to seek and destroy any vermin that have moved in the Temple’s courtyards and rooms, while in Temple Cleanup you will need to clean up all the mess that the monsters have left behind! Daily events are randomized and each time you participate and complete one of them, you will get Temple Medallions! Additionally, completed events at the Beach Bash or the Banquet of Blood (accessible from the Festival of the Sun) will earn you Claret Tokens. All Tokens can be exchanged for various crafting items and consumables like Refined Elixirs, Traditional Bleakfields BBQ, Polished Arunic Ore and more!
