Something dark and sinister seems to be coming out of the jungles and caves of Mos Le’Harmless. Creatures known as the Horrors are slowly ascending; as if they feed on the promise of greater evils, their appearance changes making them even more terrifying, they know slowly turn into the Unspeakable Horrors!
These red-eyed beasts have the same Slayer level with their cave-dwelling “cousins” and can drop a Black Mask when killed, if you are around level 80 that is. But if you really have that combat level and you do manage to kill one of them, you may be rewarded with a rare find called Scare Tactics, an ancient tome containing four new basic and threshold abilities, namely Shock (Magic level 3), Horror (Magic level 15), Demoralise (Ranged level 3) and Rout (Ranged level 15). They can be used immediately or can be traded with players of lower levels.
